At Home with Tea, Sympathy and Heritage EP by Raftmen

A few weeks ago I had a  rough time with most of the areas in my life. I was looking for something that could resuscitate the life in me after the wreckage. For sometime now, I keep on listening to the Heritage EP of  the Canadian band Raftmen. There is something  anthemic and foretelling about the song Time Never Waits. It is like a message from the angels.

The string arrangement is superb-as every track in the album. The vocals pull you towards something that is almost like a divine revelation. It could have been an intro music before Joan of Arc got her heavenly visions. I hope Ben, Luke, Cy, Mark and Alessandro will continue to make music like this and  also continue to develop this direction. I have been listening to music for years. I have to say, I haven’t heard anything like the Raftmen. They make inspiring, captivating and intensely beautiful music. I made it, with a little help from my friends and the music of Raftmen.
